As soon as we have been able to ascertain all sources of UK income which need to be considered for inclusion in the Tax Return we will be able to determine how much tax (if any) will be payable and advise you accordingly. We meet with the specialist divisions of the Inland Revenue who are responsible for the affairs of overseas landlords and are therefore at all times aware of any changes or proposed changes which may affect our clients. Under the Self Assessment Regulations we are able to process the application and to arrange with the Inland Revenue for your agent/tenant to receive the authority for the rental income to be paid without tax withholding. We are also able to deal with the various problems which can arise under the Non Resident Landlords Tax Scheme where income is paid directly to the landlord by their tenant. We receive introductions from letting agents situated all over the United Kingdom and overseas who act on behalf of their landlord clients and work very closely with them in dealing with the landlord’s letting and tax affairs. At the outset of receiving instructions to act for a landlord we establish effective communications not only wit our client but also wit solicitors, letting agents, banks, service charge companies and various other third parties to ensure that information is passed to us as and when required, therefore enabling us to complete the Accounts and Returns for signature as quickly as possible.
